We sure dug Dinosaur week! 🦴 🪏 🦖 🦕 ☄️

We hatched dinos from eggs, dug dinos out of plaster, made fossils, and molded clay dinosaurs. Along the way we may have eaten a dino nugget or dino cookie too. 😉

We worked on WOW words like museum, fossil, paleontologist, extinct, and meteor, and had lots of fun clapping syllables.

We read Mo Willems’s “Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs” and “Edwina, the Dinosaur Who Didn’t Know She Was Extinct” as well as a perennial favorite: Penelope Rex! We had a blast making predictions, exploring new vocabulary, and talking through social-emotional themes.
