Hello Sonoma County Sports Families,

Summer is here. There is still time to register for The Chuenyane Speed Academy's June Speed and Explosion Workshops. This month we will be offering 2 Speed and Explosion Workshops in Petaluma.

The first will be Sunday's beginning This Sunday June 7th at 10am. The dates for the workshop are 6/7, 6/14, 6/21, 6/28.

We will also be offering a weekday workshop. This workshop will begin Monday June 8th at 9am. The Monday/Wednesday (6/8, 6/10, 6/15, 6/17).

Kids 9 to 13 will improve their speed, explosive first step and change of direction through plyometrics, short distance sprinting and form and agility drills. This is a great workshop for young athletes looking to gain an advantage and confidence in their favorite sport.

The cost of each 4-session workshop is $65. To register or for any other questions please email [email protected]

The Chuenyane Speed Academy is offering a Winter Break Speed and Explosion Workshop. The 4-session workshop begins Monday December 22nd at 10am in Petaluma. There are 9 spots remaining.

Kids 9 to 13 will improve their speed, explosive first step and change of direction through plyometrics, short distance sprinting, form and agility drills. This is a great workshop for young athletes looking to gain an advantage and confidence in their favorite sport.

There is still time to register for the Chuenyane Speed Academy's August Sunday Speed and Explosion Workshop. The 4-session workshop begins this Sunday at 10am (8/10, 8/17, 8/24, 8/31) in Petaluma. There are only 8 spots remaining.

Petaluma Youth Runners,
The Clo Cow 5K is right round the corner. Beginning Monday August 18th, The Chuenyane Speed Academy will be offering its Clo Cow 5k training workshop. The Clo Cow is an amazing annual event that will be held in Downtown Petaluma on October 12th.
The Chuenyane Speed Academy will be offering kids 9 to 13 a long-distance workshop to prepare for the 5k. Your young runner will learn how to properly train for a long-distance race. They will learn proper running form and pacing in an energetic, structured environment.
Practices will be 2 to 3 days a week Monday/Wednesday/Friday evenings at various parks and trails in Petaluma. Practices will be 60 to 90 minutes. The cost for this 8-week workshop is $200. If you have any questions or would like to reserve your spot email Coach Koz at [email protected].

Sonoma County Youth Track Athletes,
We are 1 month away from the beginning of The Chuenyane Speed Academy's summer track season. If you are interested in learning how to properly train and compete in a competitive track and field meet go to www.chuenyanespeedacademy.com
Kids 9 to 13 will learn the fundamentals of sprinting and distance running. Practices will begin May 2nd in Petaluma and the season will run through early July.
We will be participating in the Bob Shor summer track series put on by the Empire Runners Club. These are great family friendly meets where people of all ages can compete. There are races for sprinters, middle distance and long-distance runners. We had an absolute blast last year and are excited for another great season. For more info email [email protected]
