Happy First Day of School!

Today marks the first day of classes on campus—and while our college community is just getting started, our student teachers have already been hard at work in classrooms across the region!

Over the past few weeks, our teacher candidates have been learning, teaching, building relationships, and making a difference alongside their cooperating teachers.

Today, we celebrate all of our future educators as they begin another exciting year of learning and growing. We are so proud of the work they are already doing and can't wait to see where this year takes them!

Tonight was an amazing night! The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) org helped NCECBVI put on a prom for students who receive life skills instruction in their schools! So proud of this amazing group of future educators from Peru State College 💙🍎

These students are heading into their student teaching this fall, and it’s such an exciting next step in their journey. They’ve put in the work, stayed committed, and are now getting ready to step into real classrooms and make a difference.

There’s something really special about watching future teachers reach this point. The impact they’re about to have on students’ lives is huge, and I have no doubt they’re going to do great things.
