Lord, sometimes, ok, all the time, it seems easier to see the speck in other people's eyes while being oblivious to the plank in our own eye. Remind us of the grace You show us, and help us extend that same grace to those we observe. Teachers love to talk. Father, as we're wrapping up our school year, we're packing everything up. For the next few months, our desktops will be clean. Our desks in perfect rows. And we will bask in the quiet reflection of a year well done. We ask for rest, relaxation, and restoration over this holiday weekend and all summer long. In Jesus's name, we pray, amen.

They've made it through all their mandatory standards, and now they're trying to keep students' attention by trying off the script ideas. In all truth, they'd be horribly embarrassed if people were singing their praises. But, Lord, they deserve recognition for the work they do. The miracles they work. Lord, tonight we lift up the teachers who are building the plane as they're flying it. They're creating units, lessons, and all the documents and assessments that go with it. And sometimes they do all the work just in time for the most amazing plan to come together, and they have to trash all their hard work in order to offer students something better. Lord, remind them that their work is worth it. And give them an unlimited supply of copies weekly! In Jesus's name, we pray, amen.

Jesus, sometimes educators tell fibs to get the information they need for everyone to be safe at school. It's probably not the spiritually correct way, but we've found it gets the job done. Help us to protect everyone in our care today. Continue to teach and mold us to be in Your image. In Jesus's name, we pray, amen.
