7th & 8th Grade All-Region Information
2026-2027
Students compete on an individual level against other students in their grade level from across the region. They are then ranked first to last, the top handful of competitors are considered the winners and perform in a concert with the other winners the following weekend.
DATES:
Audition - Saturday, October 17th (Afternoon) @ Randall High School
Clinic & Concert - Saturday, October 24th (All day) @ Amarillo HS
If you already know that you are not available on both days, do not enter the competition.
Students MUST be passing all classes at the previous 6-weeks mark to compete.
Contest Rules: Breaking any of the rules may result in disqualification.
Students must remain on their best behavior while representing Perryton ISD
Students are not allowed access to any technology during the time frame of the competition. This includes, phones, ipods, headphones, smartwatches and videogames.
Once students have participated in their allotted practice time, they may not sing again until it is their turn to compete.
Students may not talk during the waiting time before they sing.

Homework
A quiet game - cards, uno, etc.
Extra spending money ($12 will be provided to each student by the school for food.)
Technology is not allowed at this contest. Students may bring phones/games for on the bus, but may not keep the technology on their person during the competition.
8:30 AM Call Time @ PJH
9:00 AM Depart for Randall HS
11:30 AM Arrive @ Randall HS - Check-in
Students in XC will start the day at the meet then after they run will be brought to Region Auditions and end the day with the choir.
The contest will go as long as needed to get through all of the singers.
After the results are announced we will go to Westgate Mall for a mid-afternoon meal.
We will send a message on Parent Square when we are on our way back to Perryton.
7th Girls top 30 advance to Concert Choir
8th Girls top 25 advance to Concert Choir
7th & 8th Boys top 20 advance to Concert Choir
All competitors need to anticipate making the Concert Choir. The Clinic & Concert will take place on Saturday October 24th at Amarillo High School.
