🌟Exciting News from Owens Community College!🌟

We’re thrilled to announce an innovative new opportunity for our students pursuing careers in human services. The Peer Specialist Apprenticeship Program, created in partnership with Wood County Job and Family Services, is the first program of its kind in Ohio! 🎉

This 2,000-hour paid apprenticeship allows students to earn their degree while gaining real-world experience in essential fields like Child and Adult Protective Services, Workforce Development, and more. The program is designed to help students develop professional skills and meaningful connections that will set them up for success in their careers. 💼❤️

Owens is proud to be pioneering a program that not only prepares students for meaningful careers but also addresses the growing demand for social services professionals in our communities.
