✈️ PES TOOK FLIGHT FOR NATIONAL AVIATION DAY! ✈️

Our hallways were cleared for takeoff today! 🛫💙

We had the BEST pilots, airplanes, flight attendants, air traffic controllers, and even some very important passengers reporting for duty! From the flight deck to the control tower, our Tomcats went ALL OUT for Aviation Day! 👨‍✈️👩‍✈️🧳☁️

We absolutely loved seeing their creativity and excitement—and these pictures are just too cute not to share! 🥹✈️

At PES, learning can take you ANYWHERE! 🌎💙

⚡ PES families, we want to hear from you!

Perkinston Elementary is considering offering a limited number of Lightning Lane car rider passes as a fundraiser to support our PBIS program.

Each $250 package would include two car tags for the 2026–2027 school year. Participating families would use a designated pickup area and must pick up their child by 3:00 p.m. Families arriving after 3:00 p.m. would need to use the regular car line.

At this time, we are only surveying families to see if there is enough interest to offer this opportunity. Completing the survey does not reserve a pass or require payment.

☕️💙 COMMUNITY + COFFEE = A PRETTY GREAT MONDAY! 💙☕️

There’s nothing better than seeing our community come together to support one another! This morning, our teachers got their much-needed Monday caffeine fix thanks to Groovy Beans Coffee Truck! ☕️😴➡️🤩

We love being able to support local, but what makes it even sweeter (and we’re not just talking about the coffee 😉) is seeing that support come full circle. Groovy Beans recently hosted a school supply drive and is giving those donations right back to our local schools! ✏️📚🖍️

That’s what community is all about—schools supporting small businesses, small businesses supporting schools, and everyone working together to make our community a little stronger. 💙

A HUGE thank you to Groovy Beans for keeping our teachers caffeinated AND for pouring back into our students and schools. We appreciate you more than a teacher appreciates coffee on a Monday morning…and that is saying A LOT! 😂☕️
