Perham Class Of '83

Hey Hey, just a reminder of our 1983 class reunion/gathering (42) this Saturday, 23rd at 6:00PM. Lots of famous people will be there. Ya gotta come and meet them. (I consider all of us classmates famous folks). See ya there. We need to get more than 18 last year. I know we should have more than that this year. SEE YA SATURDAY!!!!!

Hey all. I hope the summer has been good to you all. Relaxing and fun to be with friends and family. It has been fun to catch up with everyone on facebook and see what everyone is doing. I do have 2 pieces of sad news from our class. Clayton Ard passed away a few months ago in Louisana due to a bicycle accident. Also, Mike Minton passed at his home farm this summer. Prayers please for their families.

This is also your reminder that we are meeting as the Perham class of 83 at ZORBAS in PERHAM, on SATURDAY, AUGUST 24th at 6:00pm. This is just a show up, order your own drink or food and chat the night away. We will have name tags to make sure you remember who is who. This will be a yearly gathering, same time and place every year because if we waited another 10 years, WE WOULD BE 70!!!! YIKES!!! We hope to see as many as can make it there. Please spread the word to those that didn't make it last year and come on out and visit. See you on the 24th.

Hey happy Super Bowl day to the class of 83 Mark Byer found a couple of older pictures of the st Henry’s class from 3rd and 5th grade you all look so innocent and cute back then. Hey all. Welcome to winter. Wow it is going to get cold this weekend. THUS, we are going to CANCEL this saturday's get together for the class of 83. We were planning to meet at zorbas this saturday, Jan. 13th at 6. BUT is is looking like it will be about 10 below at that time. SOOO we will keep the August 24th meeting time. I will post more about that as it gets closer.

Again, we are CANCELLING our gathering for this saturday. Have a great winter everyone. Also, if there is news that you want to share with the class, let me know and I can post it here. Take care and have a great winter, spring and summer. See you in August. Martin

Hey everybody!!!!! I hope this fall was good to everyone and the holiday season blesses you and your family. I haven't been on since the reunion (WHICH WAS A BLAST!!!). Thanks to everyone that came and shared their stories. We do have a couple of sad news to report. Mark Byers and Maxine Thompson lost a parent recently. Please send them prayers and be thinking of them in their time of loss.

On to other news, I asked the committee about an "after holiday" gathering just for fun and they liked it. Soooooo mark your calendar for SATURDAY, JANUARY 13th at 6:00pm at the Perham Zorbas for food, drink and fun with your classmates. There is no registration, no planning or anything. Just a time to meet an greet. If you can make it, GREAT!! if not we still have next August 24th for the summer gathering. WE HAD OUR 40th reunion last Saturday at the cactus event center from 5-11 and HAD A BLAST!!! We graduated about 108ish, 9 classmates have past and we had 52 graduates show up for the party. We had about 25 significant others also. Great food, great people and great fun was had by all. We had people that came in from California, Kansas City, Florida and Texas. Thanks sooo much everyone. The first pious the whole group. Second is the elem class from perham. Then the dent elem crew and then st Henry’s and finally St. Paul’s. We had so much fun that we are getting together next year again on Saturday august 24th (sat before Labor Day), at 6:00pm at the perham zorbas. See you all there. If any classmates need anything, please let me know. Class of 83 OUT!! (Mic drop).

Hey all. THIS IS IT!!! Four days till we get together and share life stories with our classmates. Yahoooo. AND a good broasted chicken and beef dinner and COOKIES!!! If you are touring the school, meet at the school a bit before 11. Mike meader will get us in. Our evening begins at 5:00pm at the cactus on the fort thunder road. Check in and happy hour starts at five. Supper is at 6:00. And then we have a small program at 7:00ish. We are going to have some fun that night. We will have a group picture at 9:00 and the time at the cactus ends at 11:00pm. We are going to have a fire at the fort thunder range after 11 til whenever. Well, I think that is it. Hey all. WE ARE ONE WEEK FROM THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE!!!! Sorry, didn't mean to shout. Just checking on everyone. We have 36 classmates and 54 people signed up as of now. I assure you, you will have a good time. I have had a blast reading everyone's memory book sheets. Some aren't married and some of you have up to 7 kids and 10 grandkids. wowow. About everyone said they are ready for retirement (it really is nice). Say, one more thing is that we are going to raffle off a set of co****le boards at the reunion that have class of 83 on it. Please send me (Martin) your registration if you are coming by next week please. August 7th. Several of you will be showing up later due to trips, weddings, etc... please come by the cactus. We will be there til 11:00. Then we are planning a fire next door at the fort thunder gun range. Also, please fill out the memory sheet and get it back. Thanks again. Martin

Hey class of ‘83. Good morning and happy Tuesday. The committee sent out our questionnaire for the memory book last week and you should have gotten it by now. In the letter we also put another registration form just in case you misplaced it or whatever. We put it in everyone’s mail. For those that have already paid and registered, just disregard it. Hey all. Happy Friday. Hope everyone is doing great. GUESS WHAT??? We have the famous Paul Richter coming to the reunion. Yes, he just signed up. Star of Stage and seed. Yahooo. Phil Stoll, Jeff Plowman, Mike Meader, Peg Huebsch, and the infamous Bob Barry are all just some of the stars of the class of '83 that are coming. We only have 20 classmates signed up but know there are lots more that haven't gotten their registration in. We are about a month and a half away. We have games, prizes, supper and COOKIES. I know, just find the registration form and fill it out and get it to me please. We also have another mailer coming out late next week that is the memory sheet. You all must be having a fantastic summer as everyone is busy but please send in the registration form. Thanks all much. Can't wait.

Hey class of '83. Sorry it has been a while since my last post. We had a committee meeting last week and we are going to send out a memory sheet for you to fill out in early July. It just asks what have you been up to the last 40 years. I would love to spend an hour with everyone and see how your lives have turned out but there just isn't time. This will give everyone a glimps into what you have been doing. ALSO, PLEASE SEND IN YOUR REGISTRATIONS. (oh yeah, now where is that thing.). If you can send it, great. If not, let me know by text, email or message. I take checks and have venmo. We are about 2 months away and have about 20 signed up so far. I know it is habit to put it off til the last minute but please get it in. Thanks. Again, we have a meal, games, prizes, scratchers, lots of stuff to do.
