✨ She developed the geodetic models behind GPS while working as one of very few Black women at the Naval Proving Ground in the 1950s–70s.
💡 She didn’t get proper credit for decades. She’s now in the Air Force Space & Missile Pioneers Hall of Fame. Better late than never.
