One of the responsibilities of a Community College Trustee, as provided by the Illinois Community College Trustee Association (ICCTA), is “Helping to shape a positive image of the college within the campus and the community.” Armstrong has spent her adult life doing just that as a volunteer and as a professional. She has volunteered for numerous organizations, serving in leadership positions, frequently driving process improvement and national recognition.
