Congratulations to the winner of our 2026 Eileen Perrigo, APR, Student Scholarship, Maddy Etheridge! 🌟🥳

Maddy is a senior at the University of West Florida who graduates this December with her Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She is the President of the student chapter of FPRA and the secretary of the film club. A passionate storyteller, she aspires to start her own production company in the future.

We’re so proud of Maddy and can’t wait to see where her future takes her! Congratulations again! 👏

We had a full house yesterday for our first meeting of the 2026-2027 year! 🏒🌟

Our chapter had a blast welcoming Pensacola Ice Flyers Owner Greg Harris and Senior Director of Operations Brenden Arney to our September chapter meeting to chat all things sports marketing. Greg and Brenden led a dynamic discussion on the winning strategies behind the Ice Flyers brand, engaging with their audience, and gave us a sneak peek at the upcoming season.

What an exciting day for our chapter! 💛 At today’s chapter meeting, we swore in the new board members for the 2026-2027 year, welcoming new board members and familiar faces for the new year with FPRA.

Eight past FPRA Pensacola chapter presidents joined us for a passing of the gavel as we recognized Amber Casart as our incoming chapter president and Rachel Smith as outgoing president.

Congratulations to chapter members who won the following awards:

Thank you to Council on Aging of West Florida President and CEO Josh Newby for kicking off our meeting with a discussion on leadership!
