The Great Trike Giveaway - Pensacola Bikes Plus partners with local supporters to provide free adaptive tricycles to the Pensacola Special/Extra Needs Community.

Many children with special needs require an adaptive bike to enjoy the freedom and fun of bike riding. Unfortunately many parents are unable to afford an adaptive bike. Here is your chance to win a free adaptive bike! Bikes Plus on 9th of Pensacola has partnered with East Hill Academy Inc. to give 1 special child with special needs a free adaptive bicycle in a contest called “The Great Trike Giveaway.”

East Hill Academy is a private non-profit organization providing educational services to children (grades 1-12) with Autism and other related disorders. Bikes Plus is a family owned and operated full-service bicycle shop offering great sales, reliable repairs, and general maintenance for bicycle enthusiasts for over 25 years. We all realize that many children with special needs miss out on the childhood joy of bike riding because their physical or cognitive limitations make riding a bicycle near impossible. For this reason we have created a contest that will enable one special person with special needs to win a bike. This contest will also enable people to learn more about how we, the community, can help raise awareness for all persons with special needs. Contest Details
The Great Bike Giveaway is a free contest that is open to all families who have a child with special needs. Our display models are four children 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 feet tall and up to 150lbs. If the winner needs a bigger tricycle, one can/will be delivered within two weeks. All contestants must physically live within 25 miles of Pensacola, FL. Submissions

Bikes Plus on 9th is open for you on Easter Sunday! We are happy to share this special day with you, our bicycling family. Please come out and enjoy 10% off everything in the store. Bicycles, services, and accessories are already the most affordable in town. Our shop manager, Marcos, will be in the shop and will show you the true definition of customer service.
