The U.S. The Emerald Coast Branch is an extension of the Chapter and serves members in Bay, Okaloosa and Walton counties.

Green Building Council (USGBC) is the nation's leading nonprofit coalition for advancing buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work. The USGBC Northern Gulf Coast Chapter was established in 2006 and extends eastward from Escambia County to Bay County, Florida; including Santa Rosa, Okaloosa , Walton, Holmes, Washington counties.

General information

The Northern Gulf Coast Chapter of the USGBC hosts regular meetings and educational opportunities designed to give members and potential members the most up-to-date information regarding green building design.

General public meetings are held on the 2nd Friday of each month at noon at the Bowden Building located at 120 Church Street in Pensacola (the Downtown Historic Village). An email reminder of the meeting will be sent announcing the topic and any other specific information. (If you aren’t on the email list and would like to be added, please send notice to: [email protected]

These lunch meetings typically last an hour and feature an educational presentation (typically offering Continuing Education Units - CEUs), informal discussions, sometimes followed by a few general business items. CEUs are free for Chapter members.
