The 5th grade students and faculty would like to extend their gratitude to the Longleaf PTA for their generous support in funding our field trip. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. For those interested in contributing to our PTA's efforts next year, we invite you to join and be a part of the positive impact they have on our school community, teachers, and students. No photos of us, we were all inside having fun!

As we approach the year's end, it's a fitting time to recognize the careers of Gena Keszthelyi and Christine Dunson, who are bringing their decades-long teaching careers to a close. We're grateful for this opportunity to congratulate them on their retirements and the end of duties such as tracking attendance, stopping students from eating erasers, and managing classroom discussions. Thank you to both for your years of hard work, dedication, and educating generations of children. Additionally, we'd like to thank Mrs. Hendricks for organizing a ceremony to celebrate their retirements.
