✏️❤️ Writing Buddies in Action! ❤️✏️

At CBSmith, we’re learning that writing is more than putting words on a page. Writing is a way to communicate, share our ideas, tell a story and connect with others!

Our older and younger Cardinals are partnering up to read each other’s writing, celebrate their ideas, and learn from one another. 📝📚

🚔❤️ Thank you, Pekin Police Department!

Our third graders had a fantastic visit with members of the Pekin Police Department today! They had the opportunity to learn more about the many ways our police officers support, protect, and serve our community each and every day.

From answering questions to sharing about their jobs and responsibilities, our officers gave students a closer look at what it means to be a community helper—and reminded our Cardinals that the people who serve our community are here to help keep us safe.

Are these our 3rd graders or did CBSmith have an actual wax museum in their classrooms?! Well done, students!
