🌱 Leadership, teamwork, and a whole lot of growing!

The first few days in the JH Ag Room have been a great one! Our students jumped right in with leadership activities, teamwork challenges, and plenty of hands-on learning.

Students learned what it means to be a strong teammate and leader, and even got their hands dirty helping transplant lettuce into our hydroponic system. 🥬

It was awesome to see students working together, having fun, stepping outside their comfort zones, and getting excited about what we’ll be doing in the Ag Room this year.

If these first days are any indication, we’re going to have a pretty great year! We are proud of these students and excited to see where they take it! 🌱

Back during FFA Week in February, Mrs. Minton made a little oopsie… okay, maybe a pretty big oopsie 😂🙈 on our cafeteria walls!

So, naturally, she reached out to the most artistic person she knew to help figure out a solution, Chris Brown at Peebles Monument Company!

With the help of Chris, Mr. Ryan, and our amazing PHS custodial team, what started as a mistake turned into something SO much better! 🙌🏼

Chris not only helped us come up with the perfect remedy, he designed the signs, had them made, and generously donated them to our school! ❤️

This is exactly why we love our local community so much! 🥹 Our community members are constantly sowing back into our students, our programs, and our school, stepping up to help solve problems and turning little “oopsies” into something beautiful! 🌱❤️

A HUGE thank you to Chris Brown and Peebles Monument Company, Mr. Ryan, and our PHS custodial staff for helping make this happen!

We are incredibly thankful for the people who continue to invest in Peebles students and Peebles FFA! 💙❤️

💙❤️ PEEBLES FFA MAKING AN IMPACT! ❤️💙

Our FFA Members have worked SO HARD over the past few weeks! 🌱💪🏼✨ They poured their time, creativity, energy, and leadership into designing, creating, and bringing interactive activities to life for our students and families at Back to School Night! 🏫🎒📚

We were SO excited to see such an amazing turnout! 🥰👏🏼 And even more excited to see students, parents, and staff enjoying everything our members had created! ❤️💙

Our members didn’t just decorate, they helped create an atmosphere of belonging, excitement, connection, and school pride! 🫶🏼🏫✨

🧩 CLUB WALL
Our members highlighted the many clubs and organizations available for students to join, encouraging everyone to find their place and get involved! 🤝🏼⭐️

🎓 GRADUATION YEAR WALL
Students created their own individual dot 🔴 and placed it under the year they plan to graduate! 🎓✨ It was such a fun way to celebrate every student and visualize all of the different graduating classes that make up our school community! ❤️💙

💌 ENCOURAGEMENT STATION
Parents had the opportunity to write a special encouraging note ✍🏼❤️ to their student that will be delivered during the first week of school! 🥹📬 What a special reminder for our students that their families are cheering them on! 🫶🏼

🎨 COLORING STATION
Students and families could join in coloring motivational posters 🖍️🌈✨ that will eventually be displayed throughout our school building! 🏫💙❤️

📸 PHOTO BACKDROPS
Our members created multiple fun photo opportunities 📸🤩 for students and families to capture memories from the evening! 💙❤️

🧭 SIGNS & DIRECTIONAL DISPLAYS
Our members created signs to help guide new students and families throughout the school building, helping everyone feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment they walked through the doors! 🏫👋🏼❤️

🎟️RED TICKET CHALLENGE! ❤️
Our members created a red ticket challenge, a chore list of things to do throughout the evening, they were able to check off the stations they visited and be entered into a drawing for a gift certificate to a local restaurant! 🍔🍕🍽️🎉 🎟️👀

We loved giving our students fun ways to get involved, explore the school, and kick off the new school year with a little excitement! 🤩🙌🏼❤️💙 We are SO PROUD of our FFA Members! 🥹💙❤️ They took on this project with enthusiasm, creativity, and a true heart for service. 🌱💪🏼✨

They saw an opportunity to make Back to School Night something special and they ran with it! 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️💙❤️

Their support of our students and ALL of our school organizations means so much! 🥹🙌🏼 They continue to show up, get involved, encourage our students, and help create a stronger sense of community at PHS! 💙❤️🫶🏼

The impact they are making at Peebles High School is HUGE! 🌟🏫💪🏼 We are so grateful for the time, energy, and heart they pour into our school and our students! ❤️💙

It truly takes all of us working together to build the school culture our students deserve! 🤝🏼🌱✨

This young man now has 2 State Championships both as an individual and as a team, under his belt in Poultry Evaluation!! Today he competed in the State 4-H Poultry Judging Contest taking home the W!! Way to go Calen Vogler!! We are so proud of you!!

Congratulations to our Sr Poultry team! They placed first at the Ohio 4-H Poultry evaluation contest. Calen Vogler was first, Cole Watters fourth, and James Work placed eight individually.
