Our Peebles Junior High FFA members had a great time at our September/October chapter meeting! We made business decisions about our Froyo sales, discussed our upcoming community service project, recognized our Members of the Month and Officer of the Month, and wrapped things up with a fun team-building activity.

A special shoutout to our officer team! They did an awesome job preparing for and conducting their very first meeting on their own. We’re excited to see them continue to grow as leaders throughout the year!

Farmers grow more than just food. They grow us, too.

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month and National Farmers Day, Peebles FFA has partnered with Hope House Christian Counseling Center to thank our local farmers and remind them that support is available.

Hope House is farm stress certified and is offering REDUCED counseling rates for local farmers through this initiative!

To our farmers: you do so much for our communities. Remember that taking care of yourself matters, too. Asking for help is a sign of strength, and we see how strong you are!

Watch our video, help us spread the word, and let our farming community know they are appreciated and supported!

Peebles FFA members celebrating Food and Farms Month at Erwin Farms!!

10/06/2026

🌽🐄 We had the best time celebrating Ohio Food & Farm Month at Erwin Farms today! 🌾🍎

We were so glad to be able to attend the Ohio Department of Agriculture’s Food & Farm Month Celebration! It was also a great way to celebrate 250 years of America!! There were games, contests, and lots of opportunities to celebrate the agriculture industry that plays such a HUGE role across our state and throughout the country!!💙🌾

It is always great to see Brian Baldridge, Ohio Director of Agriculture! He talked about the importance of agriculture and agritourism across Ohio and how agritourism provides such a great opportunity to connect people to our number one industry. He is always so eager to talk with our members, hear what they’re doing, and encourage them to keep pushing forward. He never misses an opportunity to remind them that they are the future of agriculture and the future of our country. 🌾🇺🇸 We are so thankful for people who take the time to invest in and encourage our students!

And that connection is SO important! Not everyone gets the opportunity to grow up on a farm or work in agriculture, but agritourism gives families, kids, and communities a chance to experience agriculture firsthand, ask questions, see where their food comes from, and better understand the people who make it all possible. 🌱🚜

We are always glad for an opportunity to get our students out and CONNECT them to agriculture beyond the classroom! 💙💛

Thank you to Erwin Farms and ODA for putting together such a fun celebration! 🌽🎃🐄 Our students loved the jump pad, putt-putt, Ohio 250 corn maze, corn pit, slides, and so many other fun activities! 🌽🎃🤩 It was a great way to connect with agriculture while having a lots of fun along the way! 🌾💙💛

Agriculture is more than an industry—it’s something we ALL have a connection to! 🌾❤️ Happy National Farm & Food Month!! Be sure to thank a farmer, visit an agritourism business, and support local! 👩‍🌾👨‍🌾🌱🛒❤️

We encourage ALL farmers to take advantage of the October deals featured on this flyer! And even if you aren’t a farmer, we encourage you to support our local restaurants and show some appreciation for the farmers who make it all possible.

A big thank you to our awesome local restaurant partners for teaming up with Peebles FFA to support our farmers and help us celebrate the hard work that goes into producing the food we enjoy every day!

💙💛 FFA Blue & Gold Connect! 💛💙

We had SO much fun after school bringing our Junior High and High School FFA members together for a night of games, laughter, and a little friendly competition! 😂

We played Poison Dart Frog 🐸, Head, Shoulders, Knees, toes, cup, pop the balloon and Backpack, P-Baby, Bronco! 🎈🤣

There was A LOT of laughter, a little chaos, and some serious competition! But most importantly, our younger and older members got to hang out, make new connections, and just have FUN together.

These are the nights that help turn a group of students into an FFA family. 💙💛🌱

Blue & Gold Connect, connecting our members, building relationships, and making memories! 💙💛
