Adorn the Gospel

Titus 2:10 tells us to “adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.”

The Gospel is a beautiful message. It represents the glorious Kingdom of our resplendent God.

My late pastor stressed this constantly. He presented the gospel in such a lovely way. He made you want it. He inspired you to desire it.

When we abuse our liberty and are harsh, callous, attacking others, and so forth …… that is not adorning. That is ugly. The one doing it is ugly. To the contrary, God’s Soirit is beautiful, and never ugly.

Allow your message and countenance draw people to the love of God.

If you choose to be unlikeable, you only hinder the Gospel.

Ephesians 4:32 says, “And be ye kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”

Whether it be in person, from a pulpit, or on an online post …….. your spirit will manifest itself. Bitterness, anger, harshness, and such are not of God.

You can only adorn the Gospel when you have allowed the Holy Spirit to cleanse the inside of you.

Bring Jesus your faith. He already knows your need.

Philippians 4:19 says, “But my god shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
