y appropriate activities are carefully planned and provide opportunities for self-expression, freedom of choice, self-reliance, and individuality. Children learn best through concrete oriented experiences. MCP has well-equipped classrooms with learning centers designed to help young children learn through discovery and child-initiated, child-directed, teacher-supported play. Teachers are supplied with an abundance of resources necessary to stimulate the learning process. Outdoor time is an integral part of the curriculum. Our playground provides the students with opportunities to develop gross motor skills and learn about the outdoors. All classes have a daily lesson with our Language Development teacher. They attend a weekly Music class, including an introduction to Spanish words through music. Spiritual development is enriched through a weekly Chapel class. Students in the 3 year-old, Pre-K, and Kindergarten classes also attend Computer Lab weekly.
