I stood numbly, eyes wide and trembling. As the forest came alive around me in glittering lights. My fears melted away at the sight. Hundreds of Thousands of Fireflies like the stars in the night sky.
✨The synchronous fireflies of Carolina are simply the most incredible creatures I’ve ever experienced and documented. To support my work, simply share it, explore my YouTube.
I certainly dream of funding for a documentary on these fading fireflies, but until that happens I’ll do my best to share what I experience with you!

With a small crew, I paddled over 70 miles of Black River, tracing its meandering route towards the sea and uncovering its story along the way. This is a deep and heartfelt love story for the river I was raised upon. If you love Adventure, this Black River Paddle series is just for you! We dive deep into these dark waters, showcasing wildlife, deep history, local legends, and some of the most beautiful sights you will ever see.
