There is a star inside of you just begging to break out and it has nothing to do with how many turns you can do or the ‘tricks’ you can do. Your star will shine when the technique of your tendu is as important to you as doing a quadruple pirouette - that is when you will start to see real progress. It’s intensive week at Artistry In Motion and it’s your chance to spend every moment in class perfecting your art, working your hardest, reaching for your goals. Every dancer at our studio is there to do the same thing so we all support each other and lift each other up through the process. I expect you to do your best and help other dancers to do theirs. Be helpful, be kind, be serious, be focused, be rested, be ready. 💕

Have you set your summer dance goals? This lovely young dancer has very specific goals for her saut de chat: To work on her feet and get a straighter back leg. This was Day One of summer privates where we’ll be working on that goal. I am impressed by the dedication of this eight year old! Are you as dedicated as her?
