“True peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice.”
-Martin Luther King, Jr., Stride Toward Freedom, 1957
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s contributions and impact on the Civil Rights Movement cannot go unstated. He is more than just a speech. Yet, it is easy to compartmentalize his work into a mere historical chapter. We invite a proactive approach to honoring his life, legacy, and call to action.

Reflecting on the Fall 2024 term, we are proud to have hosted 16 events and programs, including four FSRI programs, four MMUF meetings, 20 student group meetings, eight educational sessions/workshops, and eight outreach opportunities.
We've also launched 13 digital education campaigns focused on inclusion, diversity, equity, accessibility, and social justice. Our cosponsorship of three student groups has fostered incredible cultural exchange opportunities.
