Telos Technical Training

Good evening, and welcome to Telos Technical Training. The name itself is derived from Aristotelian philosophy, and loosely translates from the Greek as "the ultimate aim or objective that drives actions and decisions" I have spent the last 31 years, and the entirety of my career, oftentimes learning things the hard way, professionally and otherwise. I see before me an opportunity to reach back to help up others that aspire to become as well rounded and confident in their abilities and decisions as inspectors in every facet of the oil and gas industry as possible. Those lessons of professional development needn't be hard, nor expensive, and they should be laid forth concisely in a syllabus that is practical and easy to understand. Men and women alike in this great industry of ours share one common and inalienable goal, I believe. The betterment of themselves professionally, with the end roads of that being the betterment of their families and their community. Its not a place for pride and ego, it is a place for understanding, sharing, and professional and personal growth, so that we all may go home safe to our families and sleep well at night in the knowing that what we do at our job matters, and if make a mistake due to a lack of knowledge, anyone we know and love may be hurt or effected by that. This training is intended to help elevate people to success. A high tide raises all boats. What we do is often termed "mechanical integrity" , and for me, integrity means doing the right thing even when no one else is looking. Because its just, and it insures that everyone goes home to their families as well.
