The spirit of the Old Globe came alive at HPA on Friday during our annual Jr. High Shakespeare Festival! Our 7th graders brought the passion and drama of Romeo and Juliet to the stage, while the 8th graders delivered their creative (and often hilarious) interpretations of Macbeth. We think William Shakespeare himself would give them a standing ovation!

Our “Mystery Reader” program in Kindergarten has quickly become a beloved new tradition this year, bringing plenty of smiles, stories, and surprise visits to our youngest Eagles! While it is usually parents and staff members who stop by to share their love of reading, last month’s guest may have been the most popular reader yet. Thank you to Toro for charming our students and being such a very good boy! We have a feeling this furry friend set the bar pretty high for future guest readers. 🐾📚🦅

HPA’s 5th & 6th grade Advisory groups were excited to participate in a meaningful service project supporting Door of Hope, an organization that helps families build stability and long-term independence. Students signed up to donate items and worked together to create care boxes for families in need, with contributions ranging from food items for meal kits to baskets full of birthday celebration supplies. Each Advisory group assembled their kits, included a handmade card wishing the recipients well, and packaged them with care. Students’ enthusiasm was high and hearts were full as they completed the project and sent their baskets off to grateful families last week! 🦅💝
