Leaders, explorers, computer scientists, athletes, artists, musicians, and friends — Waverly students are all these things and so much more.
Earlier this month, we proudly celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2026 on our beautiful Quad, surrounded by family, friends, faculty, and staff. The ceremony reflected the many talents, accomplishments, and unique personalities that have shaped this remarkable class.
A cherished Waverly tradition, each graduate was honored with personalized remarks from a faculty member who knows them well, highlighting the individual contributions, growth, and character they brought to our community. The ceremony also featured inspiring student speeches and memorable musical performances by members of the graduating class.
As they leave Waverly and prepare for the next chapter of their journeys, we celebrate not only what they have achieved, but also the curiosity, compassion, creativity, and resilience they will carry with them into the world.
Congratulations, Class of 2026! We are incredibly proud of you and can't wait to see all that you accomplish. 💙🎓

We had a beautiful day celebrating our 6th-grade class as we marked their transition to Middle School (and beyond). At Waverly, our teachers truly know each student well, and it showed in our special celebration for the class of 2032 as our 5th/6th grade teachers spoke movingly about every student. In addition, as a gift to the 6th-graders, each class from preschool through 5th grade performed a song for their 6th-grade classmates. Soar high Ravens, we can't wait to see you fly in Middle School! erickakreutzphotos

🎓💙 This week the Class of 2026 celebrated one of Waverly’s most cherished traditions: a special farewell gift exchange with their kindergarten buddies.
Through Waverly’s All-School Buddy Program, seniors are paired with kindergarten students, creating meaningful connections that help build community across divisions. Throughout the year, both classes look forward to the time they spend together, learning, growing, and making memories.
As part of this week's celebration, the Class of 2026 received their graduation tassels, while the Class of 2038 received their class T-shirts. It was a joyful reminder of both how far our seniors have come and the exciting journey that lies ahead for our youngest students.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026, and we can’t wait to watch the Class of 2038 grow in the years to come! 💙✨

Our LatinX Celebration Day was filled with learning, music, movement, and community! ❤️💃🎶
Hosted by Waverly’s LatinX Affinity Group, students led engaging seminars and activities that explored the richness and diversity of Latinx culture. Sessions included discussions on the impact of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance, the meaning and artistry behind sugar skulls, fashion in the Chicano/a community, and the influence of Latin American athletes and rock musicians throughout history. Students also learned Latin dances such as Cumbia and Cha-cha-cha and enjoyed a spirited game of Lotería together.
Parent volunteers also helped make the day extra special by providing delicious snacks originating from countries throughout Latin America for students to enjoy.
Thank you to our student leaders, parent volunteers, and faculty advisors for creating such a meaningful and joyful day of learning and cultural celebration for our community.

🎸🎤 Waverly’s Annual Rock Show brought the house down!
Students from all three divisions took the stage—joined by special faculty and staff guest performances—for an unforgettable afternoon of music, talent, and community. From crowd favorites to standout solos, every performance showcased the creativity and confidence of our student musicians.
The night was especially meaningful as we celebrated the final Rock Show performances of several members of the Class of 2026. Thank you to all of our performers, Armaan and Garrett our music teachers, and family and friends for making this annual tradition such a memorable event.
Rock on, Waverly! 🤘🎶 "

Yesterday was Senior Capstone Day — a celebration of months of dedication, creativity, and hard work by our Class of 2026 students.
Projects ranged widely in topic and passion, reflecting the individuality and curiosity of each student. Projects ranged from Learning the Art of Punch Needle Embroidery to Diversity in Video Games to Robotics and its Impact to Social Justice in Street Art to Creative Outlets for the Q***r Community as well as a moving musical performance about her time at Waverly by one of our “lifers”.
During the day, students shared their work with our Middle School community, and in the evening they presented to classmates, teachers, friends, and families. We were even fortunate to welcome several alumni back to campus to join the celebration.
We are so proud of the passion and perseverance our seniors demonstrated through these projects.

Before their last day on campus, Waverly seniors celebrated a favorite tradition by “chalking the quad” with the names of the colleges and universities they will attend this fall.
We are so proud of the Class of 2026 and all they have accomplished. Congratulations, seniors!

Physics in motion! 🎢⚡
On Friday, May 1, Waverly’s Honors Physics class headed to Six Flags Magic Mountain for their annual field trip, where students experienced physics concepts firsthand through some of the park’s most thrilling rides. From circular motion and changes in velocity to the relationship between potential and kinetic energy, roller coasters became real-world classrooms for STEM learning in action.
Beyond the lessons in physics, the trip gave students — especially our seniors — an opportunity to spend time together and make memories during their final weeks at Waverly.
Thank you to Jack and Jeremy for helping transport students for a day full of learning, laughter, and adrenaline!
