Applications for Skillz Summer School are still open! To our Pasadena Unified School District middle school students and families, make sure to get your application in before May 31st!

This year, the summer school program will be held at Octavia E. Butler Magnet and offered to students currently in 6th and 7th grade! One of the main objectives of this program is to provide PUSD middle school students (rising 7th and 8th graders) an opportunity to earn 10 elective recovery credits through the provided math enrichment classes and personal development workshops.
Even if students are not in need of the recovery credit, they are welcome to be a part of the program. Food is provided, and students will also have the opportunity to go on field trips every Thursday!

Our friends at Alliance for a Better Community are working with local organizations to support residents and small businesses in Altadena and Pasadena affected by recent wildfires. Your experiences are vital to helping us understand what the community needs to recover and build resilience for the future.

Open to students who are currently in the 6th and 7th grade, this is the only summer program where middle school students can receive credit recovery for any missing credits on their school transcript!
