but really grew attached to the piano. She ha played for choirs (church and school) throughout high school and college as the accompanist. She has also experienced playing in pop/rock bands via the keyboard/synthesizer. She has an associates degree in music, w which represents a standard foundation of music theory , performance, and education. Currently she is pursuing a bachelors degree in Music Industry Studies. Besides pusiuing her bachelor's Sonya has much experience with children and teaching. She has worked as instructor at different music schools but has noticed that stye cater to a certain audience. She welcomes all ages, races and genders to learn about the piano. There are many ways to approach teaching aS every student learns differently and has specific needs.
