I have to say this is outrage. The STUDENT Floral Shop at WKU is being forced to close as local business have lobbied politicians that is unfair competition. What do employers want students that have real-world experience! Programs like this give students the hands-on experience they need to succeed. I have had the good fortune to work with Roger and students from WKU on quite a few Rose Parade endeavors and I deeply sad for all of them.

We are deeply sadden to hear that Larry Crain passed away on Wednesday November 1st. As the longtime owner of Charisma, Larry built more than floats, he built a family. He had an amazing gift for finding wonderful people and building a team that truly made going to work fun. He was a warm person with a kind heart and sense humor that made those around him at ease. This year, more than ever we will miss donning our purple gear and being a part of Larry's float family. From the Tournament of Roses - Rose Parade to the Oscars, so many wonderful memories. He will be deeply missed.

We were sadden to hear the news of the passing of Link Johnsten this past week. He spent many Oscar weeks with us and we have many fond memories of him. Our thoughts are with his family. We wanted to share this touching tribute done to honor his memory.

We are deeply sadden to hear the news of the passing of Raul Rodriguez. He designed many floats for us over the years included the Tuskegee Airmen float. He always showed us kindness and generosity, and was the "Rock Star" of the Rose Parade. He will be missed. Are thoughts are with his family.
