In facing our toughest obstacles, we can always turn to the wisdom in written words.

Today, at lunch, we invited students to reflect on the first anniversary of the Eaton Fire with the context of a quote from Octavia E. Butler’s Parable of the Sower and to share a memory or a hope that they hold by writing it on a leaf to build our oak tree.

Dena’s Troop 40 is distributing new LEGO sets or gently used starter kits to young LEGO builders (ages 4-15) who lost their bricks in the Eaton fire.
