The children of the Cocama tribe in a small Amazon village are eager to learn and grow, but their new school is only half built. With 120 kids of all ages, the school currently lacks bathrooms and essential supplies, which means the children can only attend for half a day. Teachers do their best with limited resources, but they need more support to provide a full and enriching education.

I have the privilege of visiting this village once or twice a year, working alongside the community to help with mental and emotional trauma, and building strong relationships that connect them to the outside world. Together, we’ve celebrated progress like clean water and mild internet service, and I’ve been able to share holistic approaches to medicine and mindfulness with the young women and children. Still, the need for a complete school and proper learning materials remains urgent.

With your support, we can finish building the school, add bathrooms, and provide much-needed supplies and teaching materials for both students and teachers. Even a single computer could open up new opportunities for these children. Your generosity will help create a safe, supportive, and inspiring place for the Cocama children to learn and thrive.
