গুরু অমিয়রঞ্জন বলেন, “ঝরনার মত বয়ে যাবে তান, কিন্তু মুখের একটি রেখাও কাঁপবে না!” তাঁর নিজের গলার তান উচ্চাঙ্গসংগীতের জগতে প্রবাদ হয়ে গেছে, সেই প্রসাদকণা খানিক কুড়িয়ে নিয়েছি আমিও। ‘তান’ বড়ই আদরের সম্পদ, তাই কারোর গলায় ঈশ্বরদত্ত তানের দানার আভাস পেলে সে তো প্রিয় হবেই! প্রিয় ছাত্রের সঙ্গে এক সুন্দর স্বর্ণালী সন্ধ্যায়।

Learning to play an accompanying instrument for singing - is it really important? Absolutely! It helps to see, yes, see the musical notes in your eyes. And the effort put in to transpose teacher’s notation on a little piano is priceless!

What can be a better way to pay homage to Kazi Nazrul Islam on his Birthday than learning and singing his song? This one is an extraordinary creation by mixing multiple Ragas from different leagues. Even though composed in Bihag, the song brings Puriya/Marwa, Bihag, Lalit in alternate lines in one section. Reeni Das aced this difficult part with her amazing dedication and commitment.

In Adda NJ Ritwik Ghatak Retrospective, Ish*ta Chaudhuri, Taniyaa Saha chose the immortal folk song 'Leelabali Leelabali' collected from rural Bengal and used in the legendary director's critically acclaimed movie 'Titaas Ekti Nodir Naam'. It is a wedding song, repeatedly used in the movie to paint the crest and trough of life.

Adda NJ র বর্ষবরণ উৎসবে ঈশিতা আর তানিয়ার গান। ঋত্বিক ঘটকের ছবি 'তিতাস একটি নদীর নাম,' মূলত নদী আর মালো সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষের জীবনের ওঠাপড়ার গল্প, নদী শুকোয় মানুষের জীবনও শুকিয়ে যায়।
এই ছবিতে বিয়ের গান 'লীলাবালি লীলাবালি' বাংলাদেশ থেকে সংগ্রহ করা বিয়ের গান, গানটি বার বার ফিরে এসেছে ছবিতে এক গভীর তাৎপর্য নিয়ে।
