In past years, the PTO has waited for teachers to reach out to us to request additional classroom items they’d like throughout the year. We'd approve them, order them, and deliver them.

This year, we decided to change it up. This morning, we delivered 65 teachers each a $100 gift card to purchase those last-minute classroom items they’ve been eyeing, or to hold onto it for when they need it.

We love that this transition makes classroom support fair, consistent, and easy for teachers to utilize the money we raise to give back to the school.

You’re all the bee’s knees. 🐝💛

It was so great seeing so many familiar faces and meeting new families at our PTO table during Open Houses this week!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a cookie, chatted with us, and took the time to learn more about what the PTO does, volunteer opportunities, and how you can get involved this year!

Couldn’t make it to our table? No worries! Feel free to send us a message here on Facebook or email us at [email protected] with any questions.

🍎 We’d love to see you at our first PTO meeting of the school year on September 17th at 6:00 PM in the Elementary Library!

📣 Know another Western family who should be in the loop? Invite them to follow our PTO page so they can see what we’re up to throughout the year and stay connected!
