Middle school PTA is quite different than elementary — and we want you to know exactly where your support goes.

At LRMS, PTA funds the things that quietly make a school run: teacher grants, classroom software, security cameras, emergency preparation, Coffee Fridays, staff appreciation, and so much more. We also manage a handful of hands-on programs like Book Fair, Reflections, All Abilities Day, and 6th Grade Lunchtime Lions.

Dances, socials, and lunchtime activities? Those are student-led, run by ASB & PAL.

🍧 It's the first day of school — and we're celebrating with shaved ice! The Tropical Sno truck will be parked in front of the admin building after school on Tuesday, August 18. Cool off, catch up with friends, and kick off the new year right! ❄️☀️

🌮 Welcome Back, LRMS Teachers! 🌮

We kicked off the new school year by celebrating our incredible teachers and staff with a Teacher Welcome Back Luncheon — full of delicious Mexican food, ice-cold sodas, and sweet treats to keep everyone smiling! 🍪🥤

A huge thank you to our Hospitality Chairs Kristina Hill and Bianca Jund for organizing such a wonderful spread and making our staff feel so appreciated. 💛

We also had the pleasure of introducing our 2026–27 PTA Executive Board to the LRMS staff — we’re so excited for the year ahead and everything we’ll accomplish together!

Here’s to a fantastic new school year! 🍎✨

Thank you to all our volunteers who helped make 2026-27 Orientation a success! From P.E. clothing sales to textbook distribution and bicycle permits, our parents made sure that our Lions’ first steps on campus for the new year were smooth sailing! Wishing all our students an amazing year at LRMS 🙌🦁

Orientation is next week! Tuesday, Aug. 11th: 8th Grade (8:30-11am), 7th Grade (1-3:30pm) and Wednesday, Aug. 12th: 6th Grade (8:30-11am).
