Veggies have been hard for me lately. But steak and/or chicken Caesar salads ( dressing) I’m obsessed with (and Nala agrees)! You can’t force yourself to eat certain foods just because you feel like you should.

We all go thru phases of what tastes and sounds good and what doesn’t. You gotta adjust, adapt, and consistently get creative so that you enjoy every single meal and snack you eat.

But that still comes with DAILY effort to have healthy food options on hand and ready to go!

Remember it’s 80-90% nutrition AND progressive strength training as the foundation of your programming.

Cardio and “Ab exercises” are the last fine tuners but not the priority.

Once you get this, EVERYTHING changes!💪💪💪

But you have to consistently put in the work for the long haul.

Life doesn’t always go as planned or as you expected.

Neither does the process you think it takes to reach a certain goal.

We always expect quick and easy results but anything quick and easy is not the long term solution.

All we can do is learn and improve along the way and stop trying to be perfect.

Trust the process, be consistent, know that ups and downs are part of that process.

So get it together mentally and push ahead, be positive, there’s no going back, there’s no dwelling, there’s no failure, just KEEP GOING.

BACK AT IT!

Trust me when I say I fell HARD off the wagon during my 2 week vacay to FL for my wedding/honeymoon... understandably so!

I didn’t feel guilty I was just READY to hop right back into my routine when I got home.

It’s not about going extreme or “making up for it” there should be no other goal than back to consistency.

The more times and sooner you choose consistency over perfection, consistency over extremes, consistency over spiraling or giving up... you will always WIN.

We all want to LIVE our lives, find balance, yet also reach our goals. But there has to be daily effort and consistent effort over a LONG period of time to find that.

It doesn’t happen in a week, a month, 3 months, maybe not even 6 months. That is just the beginning to the rest of your life.

So if you can honestly tell yourself you have given that type of consistency then I know you’ve seen those results.

💯 For Long Term TRUE body composition change 💯

Focus on building strength and muscle... not burning calories.

Focus on eating MORE clean foods not cutting foods groups or calories.

Focus on improved, more consistent nutrition not endless cardio.

Focus on habits and strategy that is maintainable forever not a quick fix.

Focus on the daily process not the number on the scale.

Focus on what you can do and control right NOW not dwell on one bad choice or unplanned circumstance.

Realize progress = consistency over a LONG period of time... there’s no extremes, no failure, no all in or all out, but practicing balance, learning and improving, setting boundaries, and recommitting to the process over and over again.💯💪💯💪
