💙 Chapter Kickoff! 💛

On August 26th, our Genoa-Kingston FFA chapter came together for an evening full of fun, food, and fellowship!

Members enjoyed getting to know each other through bags, volleyball, and a leadership game using pool noodles! We also held a parent informational session to help families learn more about what FFA has to offer and how they can be involved.

One of our favorite activities was creating painted handprints! New members added their green handprints, while current members added handprints in national blue, and corn gold!

A HUGE thank you to Taylor Fry from our FFA Alumni for helping us fire up the grill and keep everyone fed! And thank you to Christi Botterman for helping with our parent informational session and making the evening a success! We appreciate all you do to support our chapter!

We are so excited to participate in this event!

Annual NHS Community Scarecrow Competition - Come help the GKHS National Honors Society Decorate Downtown! Cost $20 Per Scarecrow A wooden skeleton frame will be provided. All profits from this event will be used to support community service projects, with a portion of the proceeds donated to a local nonprofit organization. Deadline to register: September 7th

Prizes:
1st Place: $25 gift card
Runner-Up: $15 giftcard
