You just need to be you!

What does it really mean to be a mentor?

You don’t have to be a counselor.
You don’t have to be a tutor.
You don’t need an extraordinary career or all the answers.

You just need to be willing to show up, listen, encourage, care and believe in a student.

Sometimes, the most meaningful thing you can give a young person is your time, attention, and a positive adult friendship.

You could be the mentor a student needs!

This week we join other TeamMates chapters from all over the Midwest for the TeamMates Annual Conference: ‘The Heart of Mentoring’.

We had board members join in; willing to share with & learn from other chapters, as well.
