Molly’s Weekend Adventure — Chapter 9: The Last Chapter… or the Start of Something New?!
Lili Quetzalpili and Molly finally arrived at Wooldridge Square in downtown Austin, Texas!
And Molly couldn’t contain herself!
She was positively bubbly, floating all around the park, discovering things that nobody else could see. Everywhere she looked, there were layers of history! One discovery led to another, and it seemed like the entire park was alive with stories waiting to be found.
And this was real history!
Not something that just looked old, like the Palace of Fine Arts. This was the history of real people, real lives, and real stories. And Wooldridge Square wasn’t some strange hallucination buried in her memory banks. It was real!
Molly was beside herself with excitement, zipping from one discovery to the next.
Lili, being a Quetzalcoatlus, did her very best to keep up. But from a distance, all anyone could see was Lili chasing Molly around the park!
The two were having the time of their lives. It was as if they had known each other forever.
And then, suddenly, Molly understood.
“History Surrounds!”
That’s what it meant!
Something both old and new. History all around her, brought to life in ways she had never imagined. She couldn’t wait to share it with everyone!
For the first time since emerging from that mysterious portal, Molly finally felt at home.
She looked around Wooldridge Square, smiled, and thought to herself…
“I think I’m going to stay here for a while.”
And so, Molly’s adventure came to an end… or perhaps it was just the beginning of something much bigger!
Did we open a portal… or did Molly find us? We might never know.
The adventure continues at Wooldridge Square!
