🍎 Happy August! 🍎

First, a huge thank you to all of our amazing summer kiddos for making this season so much fun! We are so grateful for all the laughs, memories, and adventures we shared together.

As summer comes to an end, we have to say goodbye to a few familiar faces who have been with us since the beginning. We are so proud of them and wish them the very best as they head off to big kid school! 🎒❤️ We know they're going to do amazing things.

This month's theme is "All About Me" and Back to School! We're excited to kick off a new school year filled with hands-on learning, creativity, friendships, and so many fun activities. We can't wait to share everything we have planned!

The children practiced matching uppercase and lowercase letters while taking turns, asking questions, and cheering each other on. Through play, they strengthened letter recognition, early literacy skills, memory, and social skills—all while having so much fun they didn't even realize they were learning!

Learning through play is one of our favorite ways to build confidence and make new skills stick.

As I sit here surrounded by prep stuff for August... I can't help but wonder WHERE DID SUMMER GO?! 😭

Our little chefs were hard at work helping make lunch today! 🧑‍🍳🥕🍅

They helped prepare our veggies by washing them and safely cutting them with child-safe knives.

Activities like this build confidence, strengthen fine motor skills, encourage independence, and help children feel proud of contributing to our classroom.

And of course... food always tastes a little better when you help make it! 💚

We made our own sensory bottles today!

The kids had so much fun choosing what to put inside their bottles and watching them come to life with color, glitter, and fun little treasures. 💙🌈

Sensory bottles are more than just pretty to look at—they encourage creativity, support fine motor skills, spark curiosity, and can even help children practice calming their bodies as they watch everything slowly settle.

Hands-on learning is always a favorite around here, especially when each child gets to create something uniquely their own! 💕

From spreading the sauce to sprinkling on the cheese and choosing their own toppings, everyone got to create a pizza that was just right for them.

Cooking together is such a fun way to build independence, practice decision-making, and encourage kids to try new foods.

This snack was just as much about creativity as it was about yum! 🍌🍫🤍

The kids got to build their own campfire-style treats by filling waffle cones with bananas, mini marshmallows, and chocolate chips before we baked them to gooey perfection. They loved choosing what went into their cones, watching everything melt together, and of course, enjoying every bite
