Aquatic School This unique, challenging, and rewarding course has been the training ground for over 60 years of Scout instructors & leaders.

Established in 1954, Aquatic School is the Longhorn Council's oldest week-long leadership program for Scouts ages 13-17. This unique, challenging, and rewarding course has been the training ground for over five decades of Longhorn Council leaders.

Way to go, Heart O' Texas District! Scouting is all about challenging yourself and building new skills, and we are so proud of our youth who recently completed Aquatic School.

Huge congratulations to our 9 participants who took on this rigorous training, and a special shout-out to the 3 who earned the prestigious Anchorman designation! We also want to thank our 1 youth who served on staff for their dedication to helping others learn.

You all represented our district incredibly well and did an amazing job!

A Scout led Aquatic Safety Demonstration begins at 10am sharp at the Worth Ranch Pool Saturday, July 18th. Bring a chair and an umbrella.

Graduation will begin in Duncan Dining Hall immediately following the aquatic safety demonstration.
