Week one in two speeds 😎📚

Speed one: Kikar lunchtime hangouts, setting up the next point for the team, and catching up with friends and your fave teacher about the summer ☀️

Speed two: experimenting in robotics, huddling and solving a shared problem, and studying that looks a lot like locking in together.

Cards everywhere, personalities colliding 🎭

That's character-building day in "Theater Arts: Character & Craft," taught by Dean of Visual & Performing Arts Amy Cole-Farrell.

Students answered questions inspired by 's Mel Brooks Questionnaire, then swapped with a classmate to build a whole new character from someone else's quirks.

This is very niche, but have you ever strapped a rocket engine to a bike wheel? 🚀🔥🚲

Light it, and the wheel spins fast enough that you need slow motion just to count the rotations ↪️

Guided by Computer Science and Mathematics Teacher Chris Kuszmaul, our robotics class put this rocketry experiment to the test. Once the engine fired, students captured slow-motion footage to measure how fast the wheel turned. Ignition worked — the first successful test of the motors and safety procedures.

Which photo tells the best story of this year's Kinnus? 📸

A theater game that turned into full chaos, a school rules quiz nobody expected to enjoy, and an afternoon of Kehillah Olympics that turned homeroom groups into rivals for an hour. New Rams found their footing, returning Rams picked up right where they left off, and before we had pizza and ice cream for lunch we were already feeling the good vibes the new school year is bringing in 🍕🍦
