I thought I should reintroduce myself! My name is Olivia Maiorano. I am a self-taught artist, born and raised in Alaska. I live in Chugiak, Alaska, with my husband and our sweet baby boy. I have been drawing and painting since I was five, but became passionate about it around 16. Then, around the time I started dating my husband, I found my style and what made my soul come alive. I started painting snapshots of my life, and of my loved ones’ lives. Most were landscapes, where I was reliving the feelings, the atmosphere, and the emotions in each piece. Often bringing me back to gratitude for life, thanking our glorious Creator for the blessings we have been given. About 5 years ago, I started my art business, selling in person and online. I pursued making artwork that brought me joy and in hopes of bringing joy to those who collected my artwork. Throughout these last 5 years, I have learned many lessons. I have learned: the basics of business (which I still have lots to learn), new techniques, how to step out and take chances, and how my artwork can impact someone (which still shocks me to this day). Last year, we welcomed our baby boy, and motherhood has added another beautiful yet challenging aspect to my life. But honestly, since having our sweet boy, I have never felt more inspired, creative, or alive. I hope that in the coming years I can bring you more artwork that speaks to you, inspires you, and even just brings joy to your home. Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far! I am grateful for each and every one of you!
