Not every adventure takes you somewhere new.
Sometimes it's a quiet morning on the porch, a warm mug in your hands, and a blanket that makes you stay a little longer.
Meet Zola.

It's easy to focus on the parts of ourselves we'd like to change.
But don't forget everything that's already there.
Your strength. Your generosity. Your heart.
You are woven from good things. 💛

Working with interior designers is a path that often flies under the radar, but it exists in every market. Interior designers are everywhere, working on projects and constantly sourcing pieces, materials, and ideas to bring a space together.
In this model, you’re creating work for specific projects rather than for a broader market. Designers are often looking for something they can’t easily find, whether that’s a custom textile, a specific pattern, or a unique point of view that helps distinguish their work.
That means your role shifts slightly. You’re not just creating patterns to be sold, you’re creating work that responds to a space, a client, or a particular need within a project.
Because of that, the process tends to be more collaborative and relationship-driven. Projects come through conversations, referrals, and ongoing partnerships rather than traditional product channels.
For some designers, this variety and collaboration are what make it appealing. For others, the project-based nature may feel less predictable.
Like the other paths, it’s less about what’s better, and more about what fits the way you want to work and the kind of business you want to build.

✨ This Week on the Blog
Have you ever noticed how easy it is to invest in learning... and how much harder it is to invest in your own idea?
We'll happily sign up for another course, another conference, another program because it feels productive. But when it's time to order samples, build inventory, book a trade show, or launch the thing we've been dreaming about, suddenly the questions start.
This week, we're talking about why that happens, and the quiet shift that has to take place when you've done enough learning and it's finally time to build.
Because at some point, your own dream deserves the same belief you've been willing to invest in everyone else's.

There's something beautiful about people who are comfortable being exactly who they are.
May this be your reminder to stop waiting for approval and simply be you.
You don't need permission to be fully yourself. 💛

There comes a point in every creative business where learning isn't the thing holding you back anymore.
You've taken the courses. You've watched the videos. You've read the books. And all of that has value.
But if your goal is to build a product line, there comes a point when the next investment isn't another class. It's giving your own work a chance.
That might look like ordering your first inventory, producing a small sample run, or taking the leap on a first product launch.
You don't have to start with hundreds of products or a warehouse full of inventory. Start thoughtfully. Start strategically. Start with what you can confidently support.
Building a product line isn't about having everything figured out. It's about believing your work is worth taking the next step.

✨ This Week on the Blog
This month’s portfolio review started with a single pattern submission and turned into a conversation about something every designer eventually faces: knowing what to keep, what to revise, and what to let go.
Because one of the most valuable creative skills isn’t making more work. It’s learning how to edit the work you already have.
This week, we’re giving you another behind-the-scenes peek into the details buyers notice, the repeat issues that can quietly weaken a design, and why thoughtful editing is often what transforms a collection from good to great.
A big thank you to .design for generously sharing her work and inviting us into the conversation.
