Check out our 2026 Carwise Middle Spring Concert featuring our Percussion ensemble, Jazz Band, Beginning Band and Concert Symphonic Band. Thank you to Mr. Fortuna our Band Director and to all the students who worked so hard to present this night of music! Big thanks to Eastlake High School and Band Director Ian Black for your continued support of these young musicians and the venue!

The Pinellas County Council PTA Banquet was held last Friday evening and Carwise brought home some awesome awards and accolades! Our President, Kristin Sanders, received the Outstanding President Award...so well deserved! In addition, the following certificates were presented: Asmina Patton, Honorable Mention for Outstanding Administrator; Ivette Olson, Honorable Mention for Outstanding Teacher; Ron Bordon, Honorable Mention for Outstanding Support Staff; and Kelly O'Brien, Honorable Mention for Outstanding Volunteer. Congratulations to each recipient of these special recognitions!

An award also was received for Outstanding Partnership between Carwise PTSA and the ELHS Theater Troupe 4356, and another, the Outstanding Program Award, for our "Good Eggs" initiative that took place during Kindness Week. A big congrats to Carwise Middle School as a whole, for being seen as a place where teachers, staff, parents and students actively work together to build a strong and vibrant school community! Go Sharks!🦈🤩🙌

Carwise Middle has the BEST PTSA around! This week, our fabulous teachers and staff were treated to flap jacks, a great southern lunch spread - pulled pork BBQ sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, salad, mac and cheese, chips and banana pudding! Sean Sanders Sr. prepared the lunch. Our teachers and staff enjoyed it! They had a nacho bar yesterday and a candy extravaganza and iced tea "bar!" today! Tomorrow they are treating us to a ‘treat cart’ Our amazing PTSA is having so much fun spoiling our Carwise staff! ♥️ THANK YOU CARWISE PTSA! We appreciate our Wild West appreciation this week!!! Yeee haw cowboys!! 🤠

The Carwise National Junior Honor Society sponsored the 5th annual Carwise Brings the HEAT Walkathon on Saturday, April 25th. Helping Educate All in Transition (HEAT) is the division of Pinellas County Schools that supports students in temporary housing situations including those that are homeless or without a parent or guardian. Carwise is the only school to sponsor a fundraiser for HEAT. Images include representatives from HEAT, Mrs Gist and Mrs Mercier, school social worker, Mrs. Eaton and Mr Eiben. Walkers included NJHS members, family, friends and some pets. To add a donation, you can use the QR code.

Our SPRING FLING school dance was a hit this week at Carwise Middle- all who attended had the BEST time!
