Illumina is beyond proud to share that our 9th grade student Kigen earned first place in the Chemistry category at the Pinellas County Science Fair!

Through hard work, curiosity, and dedication to scientific discovery, Kigen impressed the judges with a project that truly stood out among the competition.

This accomplishment reflects not only Kigen’s talent and passion, but also that of his equally awesome science teacher, Miss Diane. We can’t wait to see where this achievement leads next!

📚🌽Illumina's elementary students have been busy learning and exploring Wampanoag life! Through engaging read-alouds, thoughtful discussions, and hands-on activities, the children are deepening their understanding
of how the Wampanoag people lived. We took turns churning corn, which gave students a chance to experience a traditional practice and connect learning to real life. It’s been wonderful to see their curiosity and thoughtfulness as history comes alive.

We are so proud of this young man— a model student in character and academic achievement. Pure grit. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 Thank you teachers (Señora Lori, too!) for being Kigen’s champions and guiding his learning and growth.💕

Our middle school students just presented their awesome research projects inspired by our educative trip to Fat Beet Farm! 🌱🐝

Students dove into topics like aquaponics, the benefits of microgreens, rainwater collection systems, and the important role of beekeeping in healthy ecosystems. Their creativity and articulateness truly shined as they taught their teachers and fellow students what they learned.

Our students spent the week learning grace and etiquette in preparation for our annual School & Family Thanksgiving Feast! 🦃✨ They practiced making polite conversation, treating guests with kindness, and even learned how to properly set a table.

All that hard work paid off—the Thanksgiving Feast was a wonderful success! A huge thank you to all our amazing chefs, bakers, and helpers who made the day so special. We are grateful for you! ❤️🍽️
