Upledger Institute International (UII) is a healthcare resource center recognized worldwide for its comprehensive education programs, advanced treatment options and for its unique outreach initiatives. A study published in Science Advances found that cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flow extends from the central nervous system into peripheral nerves, supporting a more interconnected view of the nervous system.

For Upledger CranioSacral Therapy (CST) practitioners, this research offers interesting scientific context for the relationships among CSF, the meninges, nerve roots, and peripheral nerves.

The study provides valuable insight into how CSF-associated pathways may extend beyond the brain and spinal cord.
