Kids Brain program

This class explores the bones that support our bodies and protect our internal organs. Children will start by drawing the silhouette of a human body and then illustrate the bones inside it, helping them naturally understand the structure of the human body. Through guided questions such as “What happens if a bone gets hurt?” and “How can we make our bones stronger?”, children are encouraged to think about the importance of bones and develop an interest in healthy habits.

Toddler

The main material for today’s class, tape, is a familiar and accessible tool for young children. It allows them to freely stick and remove pieces, naturally capturing their interest. By cutting tape into various lengths and sticking it to the floor, children will engage in activities like walking along the taped lines, experiencing the linear properties of tape in a hands-on way.

As they place tape along lines they’ve drawn, they will explore the fundamental artistic concept of lines. Additionally, discovering the traces of tape within paint will help develop their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Junior

Art and science share a common foundation in creative imagination. Throughout history, artists have been fascinated by science, and scientists have shown a keen interest in art. This is because the process of creating art and the formation of scientific concepts are not so different from each other.

In both fields, visualizing ideas is essential. This week, students will engage in an interdisciplinary lesson that combines art and science by drawing imaginative artworks. Through this process, they will deepen their thinking and experience scientific reasoning. Brainstorming activities will help them unlock diverse and inventive ideas. By integrating these ideas into their artwork, students will learn how to materialize their thoughts in a tangible way.

ids Here & Now

“Kyungchip” (驚蟄), also known as the Awakening of Insects, falls on March 5 in the solar calendar. On this day, all living creatures, including hibernating insects and frogs, begin to stir from their winter sleep. This marks the start of the farming season, making farmers busier as they prepare for the year’s harvest. It is said that after “Usu” (Rain Water) and “Kyungchip” pass, the Daedong River begins to thaw, signaling the arrival of spring.

In today’s class, we will learn about “Kyungchip” and observe the various patterns created by farmers as they plow their fields and plant seeds. Students will also draw hibernating insects and frogs, then place them on the field to visually express the landscape of “Kyungchip.”
