Calling all PJSH high school students interested in being a part of the Swim team!
Come dive into a great season at our PJSH Swim Team Meeting on Thursday, August 27, from 5:30–6:00 p.m. in the Lecture Hall!

Students and parents are encouraged to attend to learn more about the team, practices, expectations, and the upcoming season.

The swim team is about more than competition—it’s a great place to get connected, make new friends, challenge yourself, and be part of a team!

Whether you’re an experienced swimmer or just thinking about giving it a try, we’d love to see you there!

📌 Reminder: You must have a current physical and ALL RankOne paperwork completed before attending practice.

Palacios competed in the high school division of the Yoakum Bulldog Cross Country Invitational Meet which was held at the Yoakum City Golf Course in Yoakum, Texas.
In the Varsity Boys Division Sophomore Alonso Sanchez led the way with a 19th place finish in a time of 14:10. Following Alonso in the 2.25 mile race were
Carmen Muniz: 21st PLACE - 14:15
Chazz Jimenez: 27th PLACE - 14:46
A***n Borja: 33rd Place - 15:11
Tyler Wilson: 45th Place - 16:50
Varsity Boys finished 4th overall in the team standings
In the JV Boys Division Freshman Achilles Gomez finished 27th with a time of 19:33

In the Varsity Girls Division Freshman Alexa Mancera led the way with a 17th place finish and a time of 10:23. Following Alexa in the 1.5 mile race were

In the JV Girls Division Freshman Juliana Maldonado finished 36th with a time of 13:58 to lead our JV Girls. Following Juliana were

Both our High School and Junior High teams will be back in action this coming Saturday August 22nd in the Moody Trojan Cross Country Invitational at Garcia Park in Corpus Christi.

🧬🍝 Learning Biology Through Spaghetti! Coach Trcka’s freshman Biology students took on a fun spaghetti tower challenge! Students worked together to design and build towers while exploring the biology concept of structure and function…..how the way something is structured affects what it can do. They also practiced problem-solving, teamwork, and scientific thinking along the way!

Mrs. Richards’ culinary students researching and presenting the weirdest foods across the United States. We had entries from “banana and mayo sandwich” to “peanut butter and jelly wings” to “deep fried koolaid” and “cinnamon rolls dipped in chili”. This was a fun activity that had everyone talking and wondering if some of these weird foods might be tasty!
