Registration is OPEN for our Day Sessions at School House on the Ridge, and we are getting excited to welcome students back to the farm! 🐐🐓🐖🦆

If you’re looking for a learning experience where your child can strengthen academic skills AND spend time learning outside the traditional classroom, our Day Sessions may be a great fit!

During our days together, students will:

📚 Work on grade-level math skills and standards
🌱 Explore science and agriculture through hands-on activities
🐐 Learn how to safely work with and care for animals
🐓 Help with real responsibilities around the farm
🔎 Learn through observing, exploring, asking questions, and DOING!

🍎 Kindergarten–2nd Grade

Tuesdays & Thursdays | 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

📚🌎 NEW FOR OUR 3rd–5th GRADE STUDENTS! 🌎📚

We’re excited to announce a NEW Social Studies hour at School House on the Ridge for the 2026–2027 school year!

Beginning this fall, students in grades 3–5 can join us:

🗓️ Tuesdays & Thursdays
⏰ 9:00–10:00 AM
📚 Social Studies

Our regular Day Session will continue from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, giving families the option to add Social Studies and make it a 9:00 AM–2:00 PM learning day!

Students will explore topics such as:

🌎 Geography & map skills
🇺🇸 U.S. history
🏛️ Government & citizenship
📜 Important people and events
🌾 How communities have grown and changed
🤝 Cultures, traditions, and communities around the world

And, just like everything we do at School House on the Ridge, we’ll make learning hands-on, engaging, and meaningful—not just memorizing facts from a textbook!

We are SO excited about the upcoming school year at School House on the Ridge! The classroom is getting ready, the animals are waiting, and we can’t wait to welcome back our returning students and meet some new friends! ❤️

📅 2026–2027 Day Sessions

🍎 Kindergarten–2nd Grade
Monday & Wednesday | 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

📘 3rd–5th Grade
Tuesday & Thursday | 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

Our day sessions combine academics with hands-on learning on the farm. Students spend part of their day working on math skills and grade-level standards and part of their day exploring science and agriculture.

And, of course, learning at School House on the Ridge means getting outside! 🐐🐓🐖🦆 Students learn how to work with our animals, help care for them, and develop responsibility through real-life experiences.
