This week in Ozona Athletics...

With smaller numbers in HS football this year, we are having to get creative when injuries and other personnel matters arise. We will do all we can to play as many JV games on the schedule as possible, but it will be a week to week decision. That said, this week's JV game @ Wall has been canceled.

We will be sending Lions to Harper for Cross Country, defending the Pride Lands in MS Football, and traveling to Kerrville for Varsity Football.

Gameday vs Brackett!!

According to the Texas State Historical Association, Ozona was founded in 1891 as Powell Well. On July 7, 1891, it was renamed Ozona at the first commissioners’ court for the quantity of open air, or ozone. This year marks the 135th anniversary of the “Biggest Little Town in the World.”
