The history of Brooklyn’s Conservatory of Music can be traced back to 2006 and a dream to make the gift if music accessible to anyone who was willing to practice. Back then it was called Perry Music Studios (Rosamond, Ca.). Later (2012 or so) split into two separate business entities. Although the founders (Sarah and I) didn’t always agree through every phase our dream went though, I believe that the core of the love of music is just as real today as it ever was. It is amazing to hear from our former students who reach out and share how they are passing on music to their own children.
Although Sarah sold me BCM, and I tried very hard to manage it at the same time as manage my own (G4 Guitar Schools, Oxnard), I was unable to keep it going.
I will keep this page open for former students to continue to reach out with their own success stories and possibly continue to bring music to the next generation by referring them to independent teachers I know and trust (piano, voice, drums, violin, viola, cello), and continue as G4 Guitar Schools, Oxnard teaching (of course) 🎸.
Brooklyn’s Conservatory of Music is no longer operating, but music (God’s creation from the beginning) and the dream to make it accessible to anyone who is willing to practice lives on at G4 Guitar Schools, 720 South B Street, Oxnard, and in Magnolia Music, Weatherford, Texas 🎼🎶🎵🎤🎸🥁🎹🎻
