📚✏️ BACK TO SCHOOL DRIVE ✏️📚
It’s that time of year again! As we prepare for a new school year, we’re excited to help students start the year feeling confident and ready to learn.
We’ll be collecting school supplies through our Walmart and Amazon wish lists, making it easy for anyone who would like to support local students and families. Every notebook, pack of crayons, and backpack can make a meaningful difference.
We are incredibly thankful for this community and your continued generosity. Together, we can help ensure every child begins the school year with the tools they need to succeed.

A friend and I volunteered during the children’s clothing drive at AP Church and spent the day grilling and giving away hot dogs throughout the community. We were able to hand out over 100 hot dogs, and it was amazing to see so many smiles along the way. We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to give back and make a positive impact in our community. It was a wonderful experience, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!
Until next time :)

I had come across this post and immediately thought of the community that I am a part of. This journey has been long and very tiring, and yet I was still able to succeed because of all of those around me. So many amazing people trusted me, and believed in my cause that they were willing to help. I am, and always will be so thankful for every single person who has helped in some way.

Hey everyone!
I just want to say thank you so much for following Abbie’s Helping Hands and supporting this new journey. I’m so grateful for each of you!
For those who don’t know me, I started tutoring my freshman year of high school (I’m a junior now!). Since then, I’ve worked with students in grades K–9, as well as two adult learners working toward their GEDs and citizenship.
This past year, I raised nearly $6,000 to help pay off Chromebook fees and school lunch accounts for students in my district.
With the Talawanda Bus Barn, I helped organize fundraisers and food & gift drives to provide meals, clothing, essentials, and toys for families in need during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
A few friends and I are also planning multiple meal distribution days to serve families in our community. (Stay tuned for more details 😉)
I’m always accepting donations, and every dollar or item goes directly back into helping others — whether that’s school fees, holiday support, meals, clothing, or other needs.
I look forward to continuing to serve our community and sharing updates along the way. Thank you for being here! 💛
